Welcome to The Pour House, located in the
heart of Ringwood! We are thrilled to be
able to welcome you to our club, held at The Pour House, where women from all walks of life come
together to connect, inspire, and have a great time. Whether you prefer an
evening club or a lunch club, we have you covered with our monthly meetings.
Formerly known as Ringwood Social Club, the club
closed in 2011, but after an extensive refurbishment it opened its doors in
July 2023, and this beautiful 300 year old building now offers us a warm,
inviting, safe place to meet. It is the ideal space where women can relax,
unwind, and enjoy each other's company. With ample parking available at the
back (accessed via Strides Lane) and on the streets, you can easily join us
without any hassle.
Through the coming year we have a range of
exciting events and inspiring speakers lined up for you. From engaging
workshops to thought-provoking talks, we strive to offer a diverse range of
activities that cater to all interests. There will also be special events where
clubs from across the UK will come together, so watch this space.
Pre-booking is essential. We understand that everyone has different
dietary requirements, and we are more than happy to accommodate them. Please
indicate any special requirements/allergies at the payment screen and we will
ensure that your needs are met.

A Blooming lovely evening: Flower Arranging Workshop
Tonight we’re delighted to welcome local florist Emily from
The Bloom Shed, who will be treating us to a special Flower Arranging Workshop.
You may have seen some of Emily’s lovely little bloom jars and flower strips
around Ringwood! Emily will begin by sharing her journey into floristry,
followed by a demonstration to inspire you. You’ll then have the chance to get
creative and make your very own hand-tied floral arrangement to take home.
Please note that we won’t be serving a meal at this event, as we’ll need plenty
of space to ensure as many of you as possible can take part. However, tea,
coffee, and cake will be provided for you to enjoy. There is a small additional
workshop fee of £5, but you’ll leave with a beautiful arrangement made by your
own hands—well worth it! Price (including refreshments and your floral
creation):
Members: £23
Non-members: £29
We look forward to seeing you there for a fun and creative evening

'Son of a Spy'
Join us for a fascinating and thought-provoking talk with Mike Randall as he shares the extraordinary story of growing up as the son of a man he now believes may have been far more than just a diplomat.
Mike’s father was a soldier and prisoner of war during World War II before embarking on a diplomatic career that took the family to some of the most politically charged locations of the Cold War, including Moscow, East Berlin, Istanbul and Baghdad. Yet as Mike reflects on his childhood memories, unanswered questions begin to emerge. Why did his father so often work late into the night? Why did visa stamps in his diplomatic passport not match his official postings? And was he really working in diplomatic security — or was there something far more covert taking place behind the scenes?
Through personal memories, hidden clues and remarkable revelations, Mike pieces together a compelling story of espionage, secrecy and family life during one of the most tense periods of modern history. This promises to be a captivating afternoon of intrigue, history and real-life mystery as Mike explores what it was truly like to grow up as the son of a spy.

Sisterhood on a Tuk Tuk!
Tonight we're delighted to welcome Jo O’Connell, local travel expert and adventurer, to share an incredible story of her recent journey across India as part of the Sisterhood Rickshaw Challenge 2026.
Jo and her sister joined 33 other women on an unforgettable 1,200km coast-to-coast adventure, driving a tuk-tuk across India in support of education and community projects. From navigating chaotic roads packed with lorries, cows, monkeys and endless traffic, to battling exhaustion, dust, heat and the unexpected at every turn, this was no ordinary road trip!
Jo will share with us the highs, lows and hilarious moments of this once-in-a-lifetime challenge, sharing what it was really like to take on India’s roads in a tiny tuk-tuk with nothing but determination and sisterhood that carried the team all the way to the finish line.
