I am super excited to
welcome you to our club, held in the heart of Wareham. We will offer you
a very clean and cosy space with wonderful events and inspiring speakers.
Where you can socialise with ladies who love to chat, laugh and meet in a very
comfortable and safe environment. This is a social club for ladies, in
addition we also offer one off special events throughout the year.
If you are new to the
area, would like to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy a fun social
evening, listen to an inspiring speaker in a lovely clean venue serving
wonderfully tasty hot food then this is the club for you.
Everyone receives a
free raffle ticket on the evening.

The Garden Gate Tea
Room is a lovely boutique tea room located in the heart of the historic market town
of Wareham situated within the beautiful isle of Purbecks.
The Garden Gate
offer hearty food, fabulous home-made cakes, artisan coffees, local brews,
wines and cocktails, breakfasts, brunch, lunches & much more!
The Garden Gate also organise fun evenings of live tribute shows.
There are lots of
parking either on the street, or there is a car park opposite the venue.

We are being led on a guided walk by local tours
& walks expert Andy Pedrick of Jurassic Jaunts.
A beautiful 3.5 mile walk and
talk around the village of Worth Matravers, highlighting the vital role the
village played in helping the war efforts in World War II.
Stunning scenery in all
directions including visiting the Marine's Memorial Garden, 'Woodhenge' and
learning about the history of the Square and Compass pub plus lots of Jurassic
Coast information.
A flat circular walk on good/road terrain for about 1.5 hours including stops for sights and information. Please note we are meeting an hour earlier to accommodate the walk and travel.
The walk will start promptly at 6.15pm. Please
wear suitable walking shoes, bring water, sun cream and come prepared just in
case for bad weather. This will be a lovely evening in the
gorgeous countryside.
Afterwards a drink and buffet supper at The Halfway Inn, Norden, Wareham, BH20 5DU for approx. 7.45pm. Price includes 1 drink of 125ml red or white wine, half of beer or any soft drink on arrival at the pub and a buffet supper. The cost is to cover the professional guild and food and 1 drink.

After
qualifying as a Commercial Manager whilst racing Speedway, Richard Hutley joined
Dorset Police in 1984, retiring in 2015 as a Police Inspector, after a varied
and colourful career.
Richard is now self-employed, providing Security Services, with a few side
lines to complement.
After being involved in many public forums, competing at sport in front of
large crowds, 'Alternative Presentations' brought these skills together to
inform, entertain and challenge perceptions based on fact & evidence.
Richard’s
talk will provide the history of Policing including locally, until today – and where
does Law & order head in the future.
Richard’s talks are based on facts and evidence, rather than the conspiracy theory, the truth will often startle you.

Last September we had a wonderful evening in Studland with a history walk, talk, optional swim (water was lovely) and a picnic. It was very popular, a few ladies who couldn't make it so I decided to run it again as an extra event.
We shall meet at Knoll Beach Café, (Toilets and changing rooms open and free) there is also a shop/café at the beach-please note café closes at 6.30pm.
We will be taken on a gentle guided walk with Claire a guide from the National Trust around Studland (will be different to last year's walk), the route will be taken through the dunes and woodland taking in Little Sea. Claire was brilliant last year and will share all sorts of interesting facts about Studland and the wildlife.
Please bring your own picnic, lovely swim afterwards (Optional) and a bite to eat overlooking the beautiful Studland beach. There are lots of picnic benches outside the Knoll Beach café we can use and free toilets/changing rooms.
The price is to cover the guide and walk only. Please note Food WILL NOT be provided and there will be no raffle or loyalty card stamp. Just a lovely get together for a social walk/gentle stroll, picnic and swim on a late Summer's evening in beautiful Studland Bay.
We must meet at 5.30pm to start the walk at 5.35pm.
