I have chosen this beautiful restaurant for several reasons. My first reaction when I entered was warm, inviting vibrant colours and comfortable seating with great space, my second reaction was a warm welcome from the staff who are so dedicated and helpful. The food is exquisite, true fine dining and the location is in the heart of Ashley Cross opposite the main carpark. I would recommend you parking there for safety (small charge) or you can park in one of the side road which are free.
I welcome you to enjoy a night with me at 'From the South' Look forward to seeing you love Michelle x
"Surviving the house that sat down!!" by Alice May, author, artist and speaker
The day that
Alice’s house fell down was the day that changed her life!!!
Alice, her husband and four children were forced to move into a tent in the garden when they were informed that they were not covered for the damage to their home. Shocking, but not necessarily the end of the world! Ironically, as a direct result of those events Alice can honestly say that she is now happier than she ever was before.
Alice’s personal homeless scenario inspired her to write two humorous fictional novels ‘Accidental Damage’ and ‘Restoration’, which have gone on to win two independent novel (Chill with a Book) awards.
Using her unique artwork as illustration, Alice gives a positive and uplifting talk about triumph over tragedy. Learn about the family that lived in the house that sat down. Find out what happened the day the house collapsed and discover what happened afterwards.
Come and enjoy an inspiring evening with Alice May and hear her incredible story. I have read her book and absolutely loved it so I am thrilled she will explain a little more about her life, her books and her inspiring art
